LOFTWERK is a property development project by N.U.N Immobilienverwaltungs GmbH & Co.KG (property development and administration) at Ulmencarree in Nürnberg.
Mirrors at LOFTWERK was realized as an attempt to involve art in archithektur in the new concept hen renovating the former shoefactory at Ulmencarree. The installation is 2,4m wide and 26m high, consists of 190 mirrors, and connects five floors through a stairwell. The design is inspired by the original design of the 1920s-building by Philip Jakob Manz and the technical development and installation was realized in collaboration with LIPOPP architecture +sculpture from Nürnberg.
